The Austrian company EFG-Aircraft has developed the Saturn BV70, a VTOL drone with a single rotor. The unmanned, remote-controlled flying disc has 40% more lift force, 40% smaller dimensions and flight times up to 3 hours compared to common UAV’s. The drone is compatible with frequent propulsion systems and integrable into existing aviation concepts, like air taxis. The "proof-of-concept" has been completed and the prototype is exhibited at the FIA.
