We Are FINN – for the industry, by the industry.
As the organiser of the Farnborough International Airshow, we pride ourselves on creating an event that facilitates business for our customers, be it delivering the exhibition (no mean feat) to developing relevant show content and networking opportunities. It’s our job to be on the pulse of the aerospace industry.
With this in mind, we have taken this one step further and created FINN – Farnborough International News Network. Created very much with the industry in mind, our aim is to create a ‘one-stop’ digital hub for the aviation community to access insight, analysis and opinion from industry leaders and influencers.
Our pedigree as organisers of the Farnborough International Airshow and strong links with our parent company ADS will ensure we are able to bring unique industry insight with access to a large aviation community.
An essential factor to the success of this channel will be its independent nature, visiting and covering airshows and aviation events across the globe, not just the Farnborough International Airshow.
Excitingly, we have already started work, with the FINN team attending and interviewing at EBACE a couple of weeks ago.
We are also busily preparing for our coverage of the Paris Airshow, where we will officially launch to the industry.
At the Farnborough International Airshow, we will be creating ‘FINN Live’ and broadcasting across our site-wide large screen network and utilising our digital channels to provide up to the minute news, interviews and commentary from the Airshow. To compliment this, we will be launching ‘FINN Sessions’, a series of conferences and panel sessions from keynote speakers on topics affecting the industry. All of which will provide insightful and relevant content to ensure our exhibitors and visitors get the most out of the show.
I’m delighted that it will be headed up by award-winning aerospace journalist and publisher, Alan Peaford. Alan brings credibility and insight and will ensure we get the very best people in the industry engaging with us.
“The whole concept of FINN is really exciting and embodies the whole ethos of Farnborough in that it is part of the knowledge sharing and network developing that we see at the show every two years. We will be working with C-level executives from major aviation, defence and aerospace companies around the world to get their views on industry matters and we will be visiting the major shows around the world to give our take on the latest programme developments
By the time we get to Farnborough in a year’s time we will be ready for the “live” shows which should give interactive opportunities to question the big names in our industry." - Alan Peaford, MBE
So like the Airshow, we hope that FINN will become the go-to place where the industry comes together outside those vital trades in July every two year. Take a look for yourself and subscribe now at www.wearefinn.com
